Have you noticed we spend a great deal of time waiting? I have, so I thought we would take a look at the Psychology of waiting today as we can learn so much, not only mentally, but spiritually in our times of waiting.
This week has been a big week as I waited once again for medical purposes, not in the Hospital for my husband this time but in a Nuclear Diagnostic Clinic, the testing took most of the day & it wasn’t for hubby but for me…
Before we jump into this reflection let’s grab our cuppa’s a treat & get comfy. I’m having a mug of Russian Caravan tea again today, in my new blue pedestal mug with a gf small toasted Easter bun with butter melting upon it’s deliciousness.

Waiting…
A few years ago I shared the following post;
I encourage you to read it either for the first time or for the second as I share my experience.
Another thing I’ve learnt in this season, with massive life changes taking place, is that there’s definitely an Art to Waiting, I share my mishaps & lessons learned in practising;
Waiting with Patience & Grace
Those of us who know Jesus, as our Lord & Saviour, are presently waiting for His promised return, we can see many indications taking place in this world which hint His return may be sooner than many may think.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an Archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise.
After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 BSB
However, we need to be patient in the waiting, seeing this time as a time of grace, for the fields are ripe for harvest, may He find us ever so faithful when He comes.
Until next time,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer. Patient in the waiting is often hard. There are daily challenges in the art of waiting. I fail most of them. But God is teaching me:
“but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 ESV
I read both posts again and they were an encouragement!
Blessings my friend,
Pam
I love that verse Pam, I have it in a small frame by my bed.
Yes, patience in the waiting is a continuous challenge for me too but one that we can grow in the Lord along the way little by little, step by step which is always fruitful in our relationship with Him. ☺️
Blessings to you too sweet friend
