It’s Time to save the date!

Hi, come on in my friend & we’ll enjoy a cuppa together as we reflect upon the importance of knowing when its time…

First grab yourself a cuppa & get comfy. I’m enjoying my all time favourite Earl Grey tea with a slice of toasted gf Banana & Coconut Loaf today.

Are you ready? Then let’s begin…

When you notice the little things…

This morning I took a walk along a new path, one I had seen many times but hadn’t had the opportunity to try out. So after our ladies morning tea I seized the opportunity to take a lovely casual amble out to the lookout that overlooks the western part of our Bay.

I wasn’t disappointed, it was such a relaxing & enjoyable time. I observed new flora, heard new bird calls & discovered art installations that I hadn’t even known were there! As well as greeting each new passer-by with a smile & hello.

As I reached the Lookout, I noticed it was super low tide (this time of the year we have super tides) but far out in the shallows I could see a family still enjoying a splash in the water, while some walked their dogs along the water’s edge & others pumped sand for Yabbies.

Close by grandparents with their grandchildren were having fun beach activities (it’s school holidays here at the moment), & I could hear one Grandpa sharing his knowledge with his older grandson about the fallen Swamp Paperbark on the beach.

I thoroughly enjoyed this time observing, listening & feeling the beautiful seabreeze with it’s salty freshness upon my face & in that moment I knew…

When you know, you know!

You see I’ve noticed that over the last few months I’ve been feeling increasingly jaded & oh so weary, so after six years of continuous blogging the time has come for me to have a break to be able to restore, refresh & rejuvenate to;

Pause & Reflect…

But don’t despair my friend I hope to be back here on May 31st. So save the date!

In the meantime there’s plenty of reflections here for you to enjoy over a cuppa, so stay awhile, explore & feel free to come back anytime.

Until next time,

Jennifer

  1. Oh I pray that you are enjoying your break with more refreshing times out in nature, and more time to savor your lovely tea and goodies. You always describe your settings in such an inviting way. I am refreshed just by reading! Blessings and hugs to you this month of May dear sister!

  2. Joanne Viola

Jennifer, may you enjoy your break. We need to take the time to enjoy the moments, rest in the Lord, and let Him restore our souls. I will admit though, I will miss you, miss your words, and your wisdom. May god richly bless you!

  3. I completely understand. I used Lent this year for the same purpose. I hope you can find a copy of the Cass Report on line(I did). Done for the National Health Service(is it called that?) in England it is a strong rebuke to all the gender “treatments” in recent years. I thought of you as I read it.

  4. Good for you, Jennifer in putting your needs first and taking time for soul care. May God richly bless you and bring deep restoration to body, soul and spirit!
