Have you ever arrived at a place in your life where you are so worn out that you have literally nothing left to give…it doesn’t matter how hard you try….no…there’s just no energy left…
Today I have arrived at that destination
So I am going to be very wise & kind to myself by savoring a lovely hot cup of caramelized orange tea with some fruit chips & put my feet up to rest, refresh & restore….while you have fun…click or tap on any of the following colored titles to be transported to a place where you can join me in a delightful time of tea & reflection…
- Dreams….
- Mending brokenness…
- Penang, Pearl of the Orient…
- Digging for treasure…
- French tea time…
- Seasons & generations…

You see when we come to that place of complete exhaustion whether physically, spiritually, emotionally or mentally…or may be all four at once…it is very important to realize that we need to take care, to rest, refresh & restore…this especially allows God to…
Be our shepherd, supply for us, giving us a sweet place to lie our weary bodies & a calm peaceful place to restore our souls…to guide us forward into what He has for us, in His will for our lives, to give Him glory…
Psalm 23: 1-3 Refer
Well I hope you enjoyed being transported to our time of reflection today, it was so lovely to have you drop by…
Until next time dear friend…
Jennifer

How is the resting going? Are you back to feeling yourself? Praying for you. I loved the cleverness of your post, and you have encouraged me more than you know. I didn’t post earlier this week and I can’t seem to shake that I missed a goal I had set. I am letting it go. I rested yesterday. It was fabulous.
Thank you for sharing with Grace & Truth Christian LInk-Up/
Blessings, Maree
Glad you found inspiration & wisdom to rest Maree 😀
We need to be kind to ourselves & prioritize our physical, mental & spiritual health to be able to give to out to others, otherwise we become overwhelmed & unwise in our priorities… Don’t we…
I’m getting there but still being wise in how much I do… resting & rejuvenating in between 😉
Thank you for asking,
Blessings to you…rest up!
Amen, my friend. Recognizing that place and obeying the signs God designed our body to give us is critical to us being our best selves. Thank you for sharing this sweet bit of hope with us at #MomentsofHope ♥
Blessings and smiles,
Lori

😀
Those are surely times to be restored by soaking in God’s love in silent prayer. Just silence and letting God minister.
Definitely Elizabeth, sitting near the waterfront I get that quietness & stillness 😀

Jennifer, thank you for the beautiful reflection time. It is easy to be so exhausted that we don’t take care of ourselves. Thank you for the reminder. I need to “Be Still”.
Yes Pam, that’s my favorite verse “Let go & relax & know that I am God!” Ps 46:10 blessings to you…
