What is Wisdom?

Hi! Come on in my friend!

It has been a huge year already, hasn’t it!

I’m sure many of us are feeling a little worn out, I know I am!

Many of us are mentally, physically & emotionally exhausted from this continuing pandemic.

We may have even arrived at the place where we feel we have nothing left to give!

I have arrived at that place!

You see when we come to that place of complete exhaustion.

It is really important to realise that we need to stop & not continue to drive ourselves further.

Wisdom is knowing that we really need that rest stop.

Wisdom is surrendering to God’s refreshment & restoration without all other distractions.

God’s Wisdom comes when other noises & activities cease!

Wisdom is realising that only His restoration will enable us to go the distance!

And wisdom is allowing our heavenly Father to…

Be our shepherd,

supply for us,

give a sweet place to lie our weary heads

a calm peaceful place to restore our souls…

to guide us forward into what He has for us,

in His will for our lives,

to give Him glory…

Psalm 23: 1-3 Paraphrased

So, I’m going to be kind to myself & out a little wisdom in place today by savouring a lovely hot cuppa, a slice of gf ginger date loaf & put my feet up to rest & restore….

While you have a delightful time in my most viewed post.
