Recently, I attended a ladies morning tea held five minutes from my home. As a group we have gathered together over the past seven years regularly for a cuppa, fellowship & a time of prayer.
Not everyone can make it each time but we try & get there when possible. These ladies are faithful women of God & we’ve seen so many wonderous answers to prayer over those years that a Tome would not be able to contain them.
However, I was in a rush to get there that day as I had slept late after having a very disturbed night’s sleep due to Fibromyalgia (FM). And that should have been a warning sign to me!

For it showed that I was struggling with energy levels & when struggling with energy like this I’m not as wise or alert in social situations as I need to be…
Thus a repeat of the following happened;
I came away rather disappointed in myself. Thus another lesson learned & note to self; when struggling with energy levels & still needing fellowship, it’s time to be the observer & listener.
How about you my friend, do you get disappointed in yourself in certain situations? I’d love to hear your answer.
Maranatha,
Jennifer

Jennifer, I find myself disappointed when I react to a situation out of character. I usually step back, gather my thoughts, and remind myself that I can start again and learn from those reactions. This is a wonderful post.
Thank you Stephanie. I agree it’s always good to take stock of our reactions & modify them going forward.
Yes, I am disappointed with myself sometimes. Mistakes are a good reminder that I am not perfect and need the Lord’s grace and guidance for every little step. And it’s true, too, that pain or illness or disturbed sleep can all affect us mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Thank you for sharing Barbara. I love your following statement;
“Mistakes are a good reminder that I am not perfect and need the Lord’s grace and guidance for every little step.” Amen!
