Welcome to our time to sip on a cuppa & reflect upon some sweet memories of Easter time. As I look back over the decades of my life those special moments bring sweet memories of family.
It was always a time of great anticipation from early childhood, the expectation of not only receiving goodies from grandparents like Chocolate coated Nougat eggs but finding out why we remembered the life, death & celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Although parts of the Easter story always make me teary, even as a child.
And those parts are His betrayal, capture, torture & death on the cross. While there was a moment of awe during His capture when one of His disciples pulled out his sword & slashed the ear of one of the aggressors, with Jesus miraculously healing it (Luke 22: 47-53).
Then as the narrative continued, great awe & joy ensued in the Resurrection of Jesus on the third day & His appearance to not only Mary Magdalene but the Apostles many times over (Luke 24: 1-12), even cooking them breakfast on the Beach one morning after they had been fishing all night (John 21: 1-14).
Until He ascended back to the Father to sit at His right hand but sending us the support of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2: 1-13).
But while this story became a part of our family tradition at Easter the true meaning & significance didn’t occur for me personally until I was twenty one years old, which you can read in My Story.
Then years later the significance of Jesus rising from death & ascending to the Father became even more poignant when I went through what began as a most harrowing experience but became a most wonderous one, shared HERE.

Other Special Times at Easter
One year I received a very special;
The gift of a Rose…
And another year, dawn had a very special moment in;
Tea on a Mountain
May you be blessed this weekend as we remember what Jesus did for each one of us & may you come into that very personal relationship with Him. How to do this is shared Here.
Until next time,
Jennifer
