I love reading about all the actions of God on that trip. I appreciate that even though we know God is always working for us sometimes we get to really know it at the time.
I agree Elizabeth, it’s good to go back & remember such times to encourage us in the waiting at of the present times 😉
I think that was a focus of St. Ignatius–using moments of consolation in times of desolation.
