Winter has definitely hit us with a freezing blast from the Antarctic today on the east coast of Australia, so to stay warm we’ll have our cuppa indoors out of the icy wind.
I can’t believe we’re nearing the half way point for 2025, can you? This year seems to be going particularly fast but then again I have been busy exploring.
You may have noticed that over the last few months I’ve been delving into issues on a much deeper level, keeping in line with my theme for this year Explore.

Explore being my Word of the year (WOTY), & I thought a deeper exploration was warranted into the following;
What this year’s theme has already shown me is that often we go along in life skimming across the surface of important issues that actually should be explored & understood on a much deeper level.
Those issues above are just a few of these deeper explorations (more can be found over the last six months on my Home page), I’ll let you choose which one above or maybe you would like to join me in all, I hope you enjoy our time together with a cuppa in hand.
May we be mindful not to skim across the surface of important issues.
Until next time,
Jennifer

Oh boy I hope you’re keeping snuggly warm. I love your WOTY journey Jen. You’ve such wise words here. Thanks so much for sharing with Sweet Tea & Friends this month dear friend. I’m so happy you’re here.
xo
Thank you sweet friend ☺️ yes keeping snuggly warm here!
I tend to forget that those of you in the southern hemisphere experience the seasons 6 months before/after we do in the north.
Where I live has been in 85-95F with a level of humidity that makes it dangerous to let children play outside for more than 5-10 minutes at a time.
Quite a difference than what you are experiencing right now. And yet we are both right where God wants us to be.
Yes, we have seen that your experiencing heat waves over there at the moment Barb on our news.
We had the same in our Summer just gone (although for Australia that isn’t anything new) & now the opposite in Winter with extreme cold & weather Bombs (which is new for us on the east coast of Australia).
You’re right we are exactly where God has placed us.
Blessings to you my friend.
I hope you’re staying warm! Here on the other side of the world we’re trying to keep cool but I will not complain as I’ll take the warm summer sun over the freezing snow and ice any day. I’ve been delving into and exploring the world of finance and investments… though I’m not always understanding it yet!
Yes, staying warm Joanne. 😊 Ahhh, finance & investment is an area my second daughter knows well as that’s her area of expertise. I wish you well in your exploration.
Oh Jennifer, you have brought back the nostalgia of my mom’s chicken soup! It’s something how so many years later it’s still a comforting memory. And just yesterday my sister-in-law asked if I had my mom’s recipe of strawberry rhubarb pie as my brother remembers it. 🙂 I don’t have that recipe but I do have her cream pie recipe, so she wanted me to send that. My dad loved coconut cream pie and we do, too! Thank you for all your encouraging posts. I have kept up with reading them, but with the brain fog from illness didn’t always allow it to register. I know you understand that. I am so glad you were able to travel to meet your new great grandson! Each one is so unique and precious! Love and hugs and blessings to you!
I’m delighted my post brought back sweet memories for you dear friend! My sister asked me in recent years for a Casserole recipe my mother used to make too. I have continued to make it through the years for my children & grandchildren who absolutely love it.
When my great grandies are able too, I hope to make it for them too. 😊
And yes I do indeed understand Brain Fog. Blessings & love to you too Trudy. 💕
I completely agree with you, Jennifer: “often we go along in life skimming across the surface of important issues that actually should be explored & understood on a much deeper level.” May I dig a little deeper this week than last!
Thank you Lisa! 😊
Thank you for these great reviews of your deep-dives, Jennifer. I always so appreciate reading your words of comfort and inspiration. I pray that you are staying warm during the cold snap there, even while we are trying to stay cool in our heatwave here! God surely has provided variety in His creation, hasn’t He?
Yes, He surely has Bettie, it’s sooo cold here & we also have a weather bomb predicted for the next few days. 😬 A weather bomb means a mini cyclone. 🙏
Oh no! I’m praying for your safety today dear friend! May the Lord watch over you so closely and keep you in His shelter. 🙏❤️
Thank you sweet friend, I appreciate your prayers. 💕
Hi Jennifer, I enjoyed reading these posts again. Blessings always!
Blessings to you too sweet friend! ☺️
