Hi, come on in my friend for a cuppa & chat, you’re always welcome!
Today we’ll be looking at a trip that I’ve been on & I use that word in the following meaning;
Trip – a journey or excursion, especially for pleasure.
But first let’s grab our cuppa’s & get comfy before we continue.
I’m having a Café Latte today with a slice of gf Date loaf, what’s yours?
When it all began
My writing journey began when I was a child, I had many ‘pen pals’ who I continued to write to into adulthood.
I also loved Creative Writing at school, putting my imagination into words was an exciting exercise & one of my favourite subjects.
However, it was my younger sister who was the first to encourage me to write as an author, she felt that my unique experience needed to be shared with others.
Over the intervening years since that unique experience, which had taken me to different lands & different cultures to share verbally, I had not written it down.
My journey as an author actually began in 2004 after the death of my late husband to Brain cancer with my first book being published in 2007 on the process of grief.
A decade later I felt it was time to share my unique experience, that my sister had encouraged all those years beforehand, in a Vinaigrette which was published in 2017.

But the most joy I’ve received on this writing journey has been from blogging!
In writing to meet with you here my friend.
Did you know that you are a wonderful blessing?
No? Well you are!
Why?
Because I get to converse with you over a cuppa & reflection. What a joy this is!
I love getting to know you as we meet here & interact together.

If you’re a writer, what inspired you to write?
Until next time,
Jennifer

Jennifer,
Greetings via Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop. Thanks for the writing tip.
Yes. We connect as bloggers with our audiences, forging indomitable relationships.
Get well soon. There’s nothing as frustrating as a gadget failing and in turn interfering with routine .
However, we know all things work together for our good.
Shalom.

Thank you Hazlo Emma, how lovely to meet you! I’m delighted you dropped in today!
Yes, I agree ‘all things work together for good for those who love the Lord.’
Shalom to you too my friend. 😊
I’m so sorry to hear about your injury! I hope ad pray it heals soon.
I had two pen pals in elementary school–I had forgotten about them til you mentioned yours. My earliest writing experiences were letters to my grandmother. I have sweet memories of getting letters from her in the mail and thinking of what to tell her.
I have also been so blessed by blogging and the dear people I have come to know through it.
Thank you Barbara, I appreciate your prayers. I love that you wrote to your grandma & she encouraged your writing. Both my grandmothers were very special ladies to me too. 😊
Stopping by for a cuppa with you today. Jennifer I pray for a speedy recovery dear friend.
