…Police, Ambulance or Fire Brigade?” the emergency service operator asked.
“Ambulance please”, I answered.
“Please wait as I connect you…”.
“Hello, this is the Ambulance service, the patient’s name please?” the operator asked.
“My husband, Steve…” I answered.
“Your full address please?”
Address given…
& “Is the patient breathing?” the ambulance service asked.
“Yes he is breathing but is gasping for air in quick labored breaths, he’s experiencing extreme pain, he is in agony, he feels cold & clammy to the touch & is deathly pale in color.” I answered.
“…An ambulance has been dispatched…now I want you to do the following…..” directed the ambulance service operator
I followed the directions & went into action until the Paramedics arrived to take over medical care.
“God is our refuge & strength,
A very present [pleasant] help in trouble.
Therefore I will not fear [but be brave]…”
Psalm 46: 1-2
This is the emergency call I had to make this week.
I am still walking the path of this most unexpected chain of events at the moment dear friends.
Please stayed tuned for the full story & it’s outcome (shared with my husband’s permission).

Praying right now. How scary, but how wonderful that God is there. Doesn’t change the outside, but He can sure change the inside.

Keeping you in my prayers, Jennifer, as I have walked this same road with a loved one and am smack in the middle of this journey. May you know that Jesus is with you both. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will stick closer than a brother. And he is at the right hand of the Father also praying for you and Steve. Blessings!

Jennifer, thank you for stopping by my blog post…i’m praying for you and your husband… Our Heavenly Father, We ask that You wrap Your Loving Arms around Steve and Jennifer. Give them a continual awareness of Your Healing Presence and Your Peace. We come to You believing that All things are Possible with You. We are bringing Steve to You acknowledging that his body belongs to You. You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every cell in his body. We pray for complete healing. You alone are the Great Physician. You are Jehovah Jireh, the One who can meet this need. You are Jehovah Rapha, the One who heals. You are El Shaddai, Almighty God nothing is too difficult for You. We know You never make a mistake, that You do all things perfectly, and You are always on Time. As in all things, we ask that Your Will be done, and no matter what, we will keep looking to You as our Savior and our Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
