Join me on an Adventure

As the end of 2025 looms closer I thought it would be a good time to have a final update on my WOTY Explore as it has been a year full of adventures in the most unusual kind.

But before we begin let’s grab our cuppa’s, a treat & get comfy.

Although Summer has officially begun here in Australia you wouldn’t know it as it’s cool again, so we’ll be sitting inside out of that cold breeze that’s blowing in from the sea.

I have a Mug of Chai Tea & a gf home baked Banana & Coconut Muffin for our time together, what’s yours my friend?

If you missed my last update half way through this year it’s below;

Exploration Update…

Explore

When the word Explore appeared at the end of last year as my WOTY for 2025 I was quite excited as I wondered what adventures God had waiting for me.

However, I wasn’t quite prepared for some of the more unusual kind that have greeted me this year.

The scripture that accompanied this theme was the following;

Jesus said; “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. John 10: 10 AMP

To write this update its been great to revisit the entries in my journal & what I’ve shared here during the year. For I have seen God’s hand in these adventures in the most amazing & unexpected ways anew.

So let’s see what the progression of my adventures have taught me. Although, I’m going to let you choose the particular adventure you would like to go on, with the following Tea for Two settings.

To start your adventure or three just tap or click on the text below each scene & you’ll be transported to our adventure together;

What my WOTY is teaching me

What this year’s theme has shown me is that often we go along in life not fully exploring important & often everyday issues that really need to be understood on a much deeper level through the Holy Spirit.

For there’s a sentence that Jesus includes in the above scripture that has also come into play this year, as the thief (Satan) is constantly working against those who love the Lord;

Jesus said, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” John 10: 10 AMP

But one thing these adventures have constantly reasserted is that Jesus has the victory over each & every circumstance that we are faced with in life all we have to do is allow Him to do His work not only in the situation but in us too!

The above adventures are just a few of those deeper explorations this year that I’ve been on, as every week has held a new & exciting opportunity to explore deep rocky caverns, high mountains & interesting lower valleys.

I hope you enjoy our time together my friend.

May we be mindful to explore life in all of its fullness with the most important person we’ll ever know in this life, Jesus Christ.

Until next time,

Jennifer

  1. I have really enjoyed walking along this EXPLORATION journey with you this year, Jennifer! I love that you aren’t content to just float through life unexamined, but that you dig deep to get all the good stuff out your experiences. And the bonus for us is when you share it on your blog. Thank you, friend. I look forward to what word you may choose in 2026!
