New Life

This weekend we celebrate New Life, many like to call it Resurrection Sunday or the Passover known in Greek as Pascha or Paschaltide but most call it Easter which comes from an old Germanic word eostarum for dawn.

No matter what name that you’re familiar with it’s the celebration of Jesus Christ conquering death & rising from the dead on the third day from the tomb. Placed there after His horrific death on the cross, His sacrifice for us to have new life in Him for eternity, if we so chose  (Ref).

I have some special moments to share in what that new life looks like in the following personal stories;

The gift of a Rose…

What does Easter mean to you?

I’d love to hear which one you picked.

May you know His New life anew or for the first time my friend (My story).

Maranatha!

Jennifer

I chose both. I’m at a loss for words Jen. Your stories are so tender and heartwarming.

Thank you so much for sharing this with Sweet Tea & Friends this month sweet friend.

Jennifer, both stories are beautiful. Easter holds such special memories for you both in the birth of your daughter and in the new birth experienced through baptism. Our son was born on Good Friday, after nine months of bed rest and being told at each OB appointment that I was not to get my hopes up that he would live. But live he did and does and was healthy. Yes, Easter means new life, new birth, and always hope through our Lord Jesus Christ. May you and yours have a blessed Easter!

  3. I chose “the Rose” and what a beautiful story of God’s abundant provision and care for us! New Life, such wonderful thoughts to ponder this Holy Week!

  4. I chose The Gift of a Rose and it is a beautiful story of God’s divine providence and His amazing grace. Thank you for sharing, Jennifer. You are a trophy of His grace, sweet friend! Wishing you a blessed Easter!

    1. Pam, I thought of you while reading Jennifer’s post. Her beautiful testimony and your place make the perfect combination of God’s goodness! I’m sorry for jumping in here, but wanted you to know I was thinking of you here with Jennifer.❤️💕🙏🏻💚🎶

  5. Jennifer, this is so precious to me. I read both of them, with tears. What a testimony you have. I praise God for the miracle of Rose; and my heart ached at your loss. Your faith, love of family, and exquisite writing warm my heart. You are so precious. On another note, I’ll celebrate Easter and the Resurrection—having given my life to Christ at a young age and rededicated my life to serve him only! HE LIVES! Because he lives, I can face tomorrow, because he lives, all fear is gone….because I know he holds the future, and life is worth the living just because he lives! That’s one of the hymns my family would sing. May God continue to bless you and your family this season and every day. Your lovely sweet sound yummy. I’m having a cuppa of lavender butterfly pea powder and lemon tea! I’ll have some sleepy time tea in a couple of hours. Sip sip hooray to our Savior! ❤️🙏

    1. Thank you! 😊 I love that hymn, we too sing it here in Australia!
You have an amazing testimony with your journey my new friend. God’s grace truly abounds.
And what an interesting tea blend, I’ve never heard of pea powder in tea before!
Blessings to you too for He is Risen❣️
Blessings to you this Easter, He h😕
