Welcome my friend! Come on in & we’ll enjoy a cuppa together & share in some exciting news.
But first let’s grab our cuppa’s, treats & get comfy.
I’m having a Spicy Chai latte today with a wee bite of Macadamia Caramel slice. Delicious!
Now we’re comfy let’s begin.
Exciting News
If you join me here often you may remember I shared a post a few weeks ago in regards to praying in What to do about Global Bullies .
Well, I would like to share the following short video clips (only a few minutes) that were sent to me since that post.
God is answering prayer!
An inspiring video of our brothers and sisters reading Psalm 31, in their language, from bomb shelters & cellars in the Ukraine (tap the coloured text below).
Ukraine Emergency
&
Is God working Miracles in the Ukraine? Lightening coming out of nowhere to destroy the aggressor’s computerized weaponry…
It’s about more than just standing with the people of the Ukraine…
After my post that week, I was challenged to pray for the aggressor’s salvation!
I must admit that this came as a bit of a wake up call.
I lamented the following,
“Heavenly Father, you want me to pray for a Tyrant who is doing such evil & for his salvation Lord?”
Yes, I’m afraid I’m human, I wanted to see justice for what this leader is doing to the people of Ukraine!
But when I reflected upon this request, I was humbled.
I remembered that His Son Jesus, my Lord & Saviour, shed His blood for all mankind.
And it only takes the humbling of a heart to listen to the prompts of the Holy Spirit & for that leader to accept that precious gift of salvation in Prayer.
And what greater force in this world is there then God’s love sent through Jesus for Peace!
In that moment I bowed my head & prayed that this aggressor would indeed come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord & Saviour.
And what came to mind in that moment was another leader long ago called Constantine I, who accepted Jesus as his Lord & Saviour & changed the course of the Roman Empire.
In the meantime, we can be encouraged that God is working in the Ukraine on many different levels.
Let’s continue to pray for Peace on all sides my friend.
Until next time,
Jennifer

I had seen the video of the people reading the Psalm. I found it quite moving.
Although we might not feel like praying for a persons salvation as we want to see them face consequences to their actions, I agree that it is the best thing to do. Thank you for this reminder 💙

You are right on point on this, Jennifer. The video clip was encouraging and we need to get beyond the headlines, political positions, and scenes on TV and get our ears tuned to our role as believers in this horror and I commend you for your hearing and being obedient to pray for the aggressors in all this. You model well for us where we are each to be focusing our prayers. Blessings and hugs from OH, Pam

O yes. Nice to read. I couldn’t get in touch with a Christian for 1.5 week. I prayed for her and her family. I was a little depressed after 1.5 week and than … I got a message via Facebook that she was alive. That the evacuation was successful. God answers prayers. Let’s continue to pray for our brothers and sisters there.

Just catching up and was amazed that God gave you the same message He had given me the previous week. Who knows what evil forces are afoot in the aggressor’s life? Apparently God does and He wants us to pray against them.

All too often we forget to pray for our leaders, our enemies, and people we just don’t like. God can do amazing things, if we just prayed more!
